This cute and useful felted basket is quick to knit fromjust two hanks of Cascade 220 or other feltable wool.  Handles are knit right onto the basket and the bottom has a special, knit-in edging that keeps the base rigid. 

Use the finished basket to hold a knitting or spinning project or as the perfect gift basket for a special present.  Instructions are given for two different version. 

Version I has plain sides;  Version II uses a slip stitch pattern to mimic the look of wicker.

You'll need 2 hanks of Cascade 220 or other feltable wool and 10.5 US double point needles and 24-26" 10.5 US circular needles.
